How do I take the Elderberry Syrup? It is recommended that you find a way that suits you. Some people take it straight off the spoon, some add it to hot and cold drinks, some add it to yoghurt. The most important thing is that you find a space within your daily routine to incorporate it. 1 tablespoon daily for adults, 1 teaspoon daily for children 12 and under. Consistency is key with herbs and as this should be treated as a preventative for cold and flu, it's highly recommended that you take it daily. If you are suffering with a cold or flu, it is recommended to double your daily dosage until feeling well again.
